New Programme

Become a Reading Buddy

Many Grade 4 learners in our schools are still reading well below their grade level and need focused, one-on-one intervention. Through the Reading Buddy programme you can pledge your support for a learner who is struggling with literacy — helping us place a trained reading facilitator alongside them.

Pledge Your Support

Commit a monthly or once-off pledge that funds focused reading intervention for a learner who needs it most.

A Buddy for Every Reader

Your pledge helps pair learners with a trained facilitator for regular, patient reading practice.

Grade 4 Focus

We prioritise Grade 4 learners, where the gap between reading to learn and learning to read is widest.

Pledge as a Reading Buddy

Email us and our team will guide you through the pledge.

Saturday Reading Sessions

Extra reading support for Grade 3, 4 and 5 learners.

We are opening Saturday reading sessions for Grade 3, 4 and 5 learners who need extra support with their reading. These sessions give children unhurried time to read aloud, build vocabulary and grow in confidence alongside a facilitator — outside the pressure of the school week.
